Fox News Comes to Jackson, Tennessee and
Casey Jones Village

It's not every day that an international news network visits Jackson, Tennessee but Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 was a great day for our city as Fox News filmed their morning show "Fox & Friends" live from Casey Jones Village.
It was a great experience and we had a ball!

Allie Mac Kay with Fox News was a doll and showcased different festivities and aspects of Jackson including the Southern cooking interviewing our own Juanita Shaw and Jennie Turner and homemade fudge at the Old Country Store, Celtic Fest, the Jackson Area Plectral Society and the International Rock-a-billy Hall of Fame with Henry Harrison and W.S. Holland.

It was big news locally and made the front page of the Jackson Sun newspaper and the weekend newscast on WBBJ- TV.
Many thanks to Gavin Hadden with Fox News, Mary Beth Hopper, Director of the Tourism Association of Southwest Tennessee, Ken Freeman with Ken Freeman Outdoor Promotions, Colleen Coury, Director of the Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau and Clark and Juanita Shaw for making it happen.

The Live at Nine Show is so wonderful to us!

Monday, September 17th, Nate Huss and his band were on the Live at Nine
show for the 2007 Shoutfest festival!  Live at Nine is the CBS affiliate out of Memphis and they tape at the beautiful Peabody Place in downtown Memphis.  Nate and the guys did an awesome job.
