Alton Brown!
Yours truly and my nephew, Brooks Shaw, had a fun time when we met Alton Brown from the Food Network at a book signing at the Pink Palace Museum in Memphis. My nephew, who graduates from high school this year and loves to cook, and I waited in line with fellow AB fans and had our copies of Feasting on Asphalt - The River Run signed. There were several hundred people there throughout the afternoon and although we were at the end of what must have been a long day he was most gracious to us.
One day maybe he can come to Jackson, Tennessee and the Old Country Store. That would be amazing!
