Shaws Celebrate Two Milestones in May!
The Shaw Family celebrated two big events in May with Anne Shaw's 85th birthday and grandson Brooks Shaw's high school graduation. I'll try to explain the family tree. Here goes: Anne Shaw is the wife of the late Brooks Shaw and the founders of the Old Country Store back in 1965! They had an amazing story and a great love. Sadly, Mr. Shaw passed away in 1971 of a heart attack. Anne Shaw is the Chairman of the Board Emeritus and the heart of our company and their two children work in the business today. Miss Anne is an angel on Earth that everyone adores. Happy 85th Birthday! Her son, Clark, is the CEO of our Old Country Store and daughter, Deborah, the Marketing Director. Clark and his wife, Juanita, (who is our Senior Gift Shoppe Manager and Special Projects lead) have two children, Elizabeth and Brooks. Congrats go out to Brooks who graduated from high school May 16th! He was the student body president at Madison Academic Magnet School his senior year.
