Old Country Store Event Receives Top 20 Honor
We are excited to announce that our Christmas Eve Breakfast has been named as a Top 20 event by the Southeast Tourism Society for the Fall of 2008! The Breakfast will celebrate 24 years this year. Each year on Christmas Eve, as a gift to the city, we serve our famous Southern breakfast buffet for only $3.99 for adults including a hot beverage and children 12 and under are only $1.99 with under age 2 free. Attendance each year is around 2,000 people for what has become a very merry and festive annual tradition among West Tennessee area families.
The past several years we have partnered with a charity organization to highlight their work. Past honorees include Tennessee Donor Services, the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, Regional Inter-faith Association and the STAR Center.
Here is our CEO Clark Shaw's quote from our press release: "The Southeast Tourism Society is the premier travel organization in the Southeast. With thousands of events and festivals that could be highlighted we are indeed honored to have our Christmas Eve Breakfast chosen as a Top 20 event in the Southeastern United States."
The Southeast Tourism Society is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta. It's goal is to market and promote travel to and within its twelve members states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
We are so honored to receive this prestigious designation. Thank you so much!
