to Casey Jones Village

 ~ Kids' Shows to Begin March 2nd ~

                                                                     

( Jackson , TN )  A one of a kind Puppetmobile has been donated to Casey Jones Village and the Old Country Store by the Granpa Cratchet Corporation based out of Sharpsville, Indiana. The miniature truck comes with a life size puppet that seems to "drive" a red general store truck while interacting with passersby.  It will be "driven" by local puppeteer, William Groce, who brings Granpa to life and talks with people and maneuvers through a crowd. 

Granpa's first show will be a stage show at Kids Night at the Old Country Store on Monday, March 2nd at 6 pm.  He will be appearing weekly at the children's night. Granpa's "agent" had this to say, "Come on out to Grandpa's Back Porch and sit a spell.  Join Grandpa Crachet for an evening of totally random hilariousness while you enjoy a great meal at the Old Country Store in the Casey Jones Village. The show is set for 6 pm on Monday, March 2nd.  However, being that Grandpa is a bit forgetful in his old age, he may be there early or late. You just never know with Grandpa (just kidding)."

The puppetmobile  will be ideal for comedy appearances in the Jackson area and at West Tennessee festivals and fairs and various special events.  Donated to Casey Jones Village by Granpa Cratchet creator and company owner Sam Bowman, it will be booked through the Sales office at Brooks Shaw's Old Country Store for local events.
